Mount Zion Baptist Church, 774 County Road 223, Mixons Crossroads, New Brockton will be having an annual candle lighting and prayer service on Friday evening, Dec. 23, at 6 p.m.
The youth group will perform “Mary Did You Know?” at 6 p.m. followed by a short message from the pastor. Following the message, the candle lighting and prayer service will begin. It is a service in remembrance of those who are no longer with us this Christmas. After the service, everyone is invited to join the church in a time of food and fellowship. All are welcome, and the public is invited.
