Q: Do you see serving as mayor as a ministry?
A: God ordained government for the good of His people. Becoming mayor was God’s calling on my life to lift up the name of Jesus to our citizens as we work to improve the quality of life of our people. I support our pastors and churches and desire to be “a shining light for Jesus” as I serve. I want our people to know we care about their needs.
Q: What does the mayor’s job demand?
A: The heart of a servant who desires to help improve the quality of life and help the Fayette community grow spiritually.
Q: What do you get from it?
A: Sharing God’s love and hope with our people and providing for their physical and spiritual needs is a great blessing from the Lord.
Q: How do family members support you?
A: All my family are saved, and they provide tremendous spiritual support for the work God has called me to do in our community.
Q: What difference do you want to make in the future?
A: Helping our people place their faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ to meet our community needs.
