NASHVILLE — Contributions through the Southern Baptist Convention’s (SBC) Cooperative Program (CP) for November 2007 totaled $18,458,100.40 — 17.04 percent, or $2,687,164.92, above the $15,770,935.48 received in November 2006. The year-to-date total of $33,237,987.16 for CP Missions is 6.77 percent, or $2,108,096.13, ahead of the $31,129,891.03 received at the same point in 2006, according to a news release from SBC Executive Committee President and Chief Executive Officer Morris H. Chapman. For the SBC Cooperative Program Allocation Budget, the year-to-date total of $33,237,987.16 is 99.41 percent of the $33,433,589.38 budgeted to support Southern Baptist ministries globally and across North America. The SBC operates on an Oct. 1–Sept. 30 fiscal year.
