The University of Mobile (UMobile) School of Christian Ministries is seeking nominees for the prestigious Order of the Shofar award. This award honors Alabama Baptist State Convention ministers for faithful service who might otherwise go unrecognized.
In essence, this is an award for unsung heroes in ministry, according to Douglas Wilson, dean and professor of Christian ministries at UMobile.
Anyone may nominate a minister for consideration. Download nomination forms at www.umobile.edu/academics and go to School of Christian Ministries for a link, email dwilson@umobile.edu or call the School of Christian Ministries office at 251-442-2406.
Deadline for nominations is April 1.
