Joey Cannady recently retired as pastor of Solitude Baptist Church, Albertville, where he served 28 years. Before Solitude, Cannady was bivocational pastor of Victory Hill Baptist, Albertville. He and his wife, Karen, have two children and two grandchildren.
The Way church was formerly Deerfoot Baptist Church in Trussville and had moved to Argo and changed its name in the spring of 2025.
