Bennie Y. Peacock, a retired Alabama Baptist pastor, died Dec. 29. He was 77. In his 58 years as a pastor, Peacock served seven Southern Baptist churches in Tallapoosa, Talladega, Chilton, Randolph, Chambers, Jefferson and Shelby counties.
