Thirty more Christians have been slain in Nigeria in continuous persecution spanning years.
Twenty-eight were killed June 22 in an attack on Kawel village in Nigeria’s Plateau state, Christian Daily International-Morning Star News reported.

One source said the assailants — Muslim Fulani herdsmen — could be heard naming Christian leaders and receiving instruction to hunt them down in their homes.
Telecommunications services were cut to prevent villagers from summoning help.
One of the 28 killed was Markus Nyam, pastor of a Church of Christ in Nations congregation in Kawel, a resident told the news outlet.
On June 25, Muslim Fulani herdsmen raided the villages of Umaso and Unguwa-Ku in Nigeria’s Kaduna state. Seven others were kidnapped, Christian Daily-Morning Star reported.
