Birmingham’s Jimmie Hale Mission has helped restore and transform thousands who have suffered from homelessness and addiction. The Christian-based, nonprofit organization includes a homeless shelter for men, a shelter for women and children and various other programs.
Recently, the Mission announced a new chapter in its ministry, expanding beyond rescue to now include recovery.
On this week’s TAB News, co-hosts Jennifer Rash and Debbie Campbell talk with Michael Coleman, the new executive director of Jimmie Hale Mission, to learn more about the recovery efforts.
Following the 30-minute interview, TAB staff members and correspondents will present an audio digest of this week’s issue including news, features, Dr. Batson’s Theology 101 column and Sunday School commentaries.
