Lay leaders, such as Bible study and School School teachers, as well as ministers and staff members serve their congregations best if they participate in some form of continuing education.
Kevin Blackwell, director of the Ministry Training Institute at Samford University in Birmingham, shares how that can be done inexpensively and close to home. He also explains the diploma and certificate programs offered through the Ministry Training Institute as well as details about some of the classes. There are educational opportunities available through weekly class meetings in a variety of locations as well as other class offerings through an online setting.
