CONCORD, N.C. — A protester was arrested at a Baptist church in North Carolina July 13 after he disrupted a worship service, apparently in reaction to the church’s stance on gays. McGill Baptist Church in Concord, N.C., was expelled from the Cabarrus Baptist Association in April for baptizing two gay men.
“Operation Rescue — Operation Save America,” which opposes homosexuality, abortion and Islam, according to its Web site, staged a protest outside the church July 13.
