The University of Mobile (UM) Center for Performing Arts has opened registration for its 16th annual summer music camp.
The camp, scheduled June 15–19, will be held in Martin Hall on the UM campus. Registration deadline is June 2. Both full-tuition and partial-tuition scholarships are available by audition, which must include two pieces of contrasting style, demonstration of technical ability and a short interview. Registration deadline for auditions is May 14. Auditions will be held May 21.
UM’s summer music camp specializes in inspiring young musicians to increase technical proficiency, expand knowledge of music literature and develop performing skills in their area of choice.
