Birmingham Ruffner Valley Church, Irondale, will celebrate Heritage Day on Oct. 8. Sunday School will be at 9 a.m. and worship will be at 10:15 a.m. Former pastor Larry Morris will speak. Lunch will follow the service. Point of Honor will perform special music after lunch. Stan Prewett is pastor.
