Consider nominating a full-time minister, director of missions, retired minister of bivocational minister as Samford Univeristy’s 2004 Baptist Minister of the Year. Deadline for nominations is Sept. 15. Winners will be announced during the Alabama Baptist State Convention meeting in November. Ministers nominated may be in one of six categories: pastor of church with Sunday School enrollment under 300, between 300 and 999 or 1,000 or more; director of missions, retired minister or bivocational minister. Selection criteria include service as an effective and consistent model of leadership in the local church, denominational involvement and missions and evangelism support.
