Samford Theatre Department to Put on Ten-Minute Plays
Samford University’s theatre department will present Ten-Minute Plays, a collection of student-directed productions, Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. in Harrison Theatre.
What do you suppose it would be like to have Jesus as your older half-brother? To grow up in the same family as the Son of God? To have a senior sibling who is incapable of sin, who leads a perfect life?
It’s not something you see every day — even at an airport. A routine security screening at Alabama’s Gulf Shores International Airport led to the recovery of five stolen Civil War-era cannonballs hidden in a passenger’s checked suitcase.
Ask many young adults why they are going to college, and they’ll likely say something along the lines of “to get a job.” Ask them what kind of job — and why that’s the one they want — might give them pause.
