Scott Ferguson is the new pastor of First Church, LaFayette. He holds degrees from Auburn University and Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. Ferguson also has served at Westview Church, Opp; Central Church, Opelika; Thomasville Church; and Macedonia Church, Union Springs. He also served as an adjunct instructor for Samford University’s Ministry Training Institute. He and his wife, Jennifer, have six children.
If messengers do allow the rules to be suspended and a vote taken during this year’s annual meeting, then a marked ballot vote for precise calculation would be best — and I’m appreciative of that reportedly having already been considered.
