Sophomores Produce ‘HONK!’

Judson College sophomores produced and performed the annual pageant Oct. 4.

This year’s play was “HONK!”, a story about a lost ugly duckling who transforms into a swan while searching for home.

“HONK!” starred Sarah Fowler, Bailey Glassco, Bridget Kwasniak, Chelsea Barton, Rebecca Beachler, Audrey McCaghren and Laura Noble.

Lindsay Miller of Oldsmar, Fla., was the 2008 pageant director and Summer Jones of Arab was assistant director.

The tradition of pageant was begun in 1898 by professor of English, Anne Kirtley, who taught at Judson from 1891 until 1938.

The play is produced and performed by college sophomores in honor of their senior classmates.
