The Commission on Accreditation of the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) announced the accreditation of Southeastern Bible College in Birmingham has been reaffirmed for 10 more years, through 2024.
ABHE is one of 12 institutional accrediting agencies that function under the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education. Southeastern has held accreditation with ABHE since 1962.
Southeastern President Don Hawkins said, “Our aim has been to equip men and women to serve as pastors, missionaries, Christian educators, counselors and other vocational ministry fields as well as to prepare students for graduate school and to train lay leaders for local churches.”
