Associational leaders may not be able to meet at the Southern Baptist Convention annual meeting in June this year, but this week their conference is coming to them.
The Southern Baptist Conference of Associational Leaders (SBCAL) will stream a first-ever virtual conference Thursday, April 30 from 12 to 4 p.m. with the theme Relational Proficiencies in a Post-COVID World. It will offer speakers and opportunities for interactive peer learning.
Speakers include:
- Association speakers Bob Lowman, Charlotte, North Carolina; Bob Dean, Dallas; Jim Breeden, St. Louis, Missouri; Brian Nall, Pensacola, Florida; and Todd Robertson, Louisville, Kentucky;
- Ben Mandrell, LifeWay president;
- Paul Chitwood, International Mission Board president;
- Kevin Ezell, North American Mission Board president;
- O. S. Hawkins, GuideStone president;
- Ronnie Floyd, SBC Executive Committee president;
- Brad Hill, head of partnerships with Gloo;
- Rob Peters, president of Corpus and ReFocus;
- Gerald James, president of the Baptist Church Loan Corporation.
