Pastor Jim Parker of Ashby Baptist Church, Brierfield, one of nine churches burned by arsonists in 2006, shared the pulpit with Kim Cloyd, mother of one of the convicted arsonists, Sept. 18 at Ramsey/McCrummen Chapel on the Judson College campus.
Cloyd has visited each of the congregations to apologize and pray with parishioners.
“When I’m searching for an unengaged, unreached people group, I ask the Holy Spirit to show me someone open to the gospel,” writes IMB missionary explorer John Pratt.
“Being restricted on activities definitely provides more space for the mind to be creative and think beyond the regimented daily routines,” writes TAB Media’s Jennifer Davis Rash.
Travis McKenzie, a University of Mobile senior psychology major, has been named the 2024 Army ROTC Outstanding Cadet of the Year by the Mobile Bay Veterans Commission.
