John Monteith is the new pastor of Talladega Creek Baptist Church, Talladega.
He has served on staff at churches in Mississippi and Massachusetts, most recently as an associate pastor at a church plant in Winthrop, Massachusetts.
He earned a master of divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina.
Monteith and his wife, Lynn, have three children.
