Tommy Pierce, recently retired music minister at First Baptist, Boaz, will be honored with a celebration April 29, 3 p.m. at the church. A mass choir rehearsal will begin at 2 p.m. and choir members from previous churches Pierce has served are invited to participate. A reception will follow. Aaron Johnson is pastor.
