Sir, your reminding readers to stick to issues in submitting letters is laudable. An in-depth study of the epistle of James again has reminded me to tame the tongues and zip the lip when tempted to engage in trashy dialogue. That’s a critical issue.

Thus, neither clergy nor laity should mix partisan secular politics and authentic spiritual worship. Daily I need to be reminded that trash talk is unbecoming in Christian discourse.
