WATKINSVILLE, Ga. — Truett-McConnell College has sold its campus facilities in Watkinsville, Ga., to the state’s university system for use by Gainesville College.
Truett-McConnell, a Georgia Baptist Convention-related college, has its main campus in Cleveland, Ga., but had expanded to provide classes near the University of Georgia in Athens. Gainesville College also began offering classes in the area in May 2001, enrolling several hundred students.
