The University of Mobile (UM) will present the fourth annual Billy G. Hinson Lecture Series on April 2 at 7 p.m. on the UM campus. Daniel Dreisbach, professor at American University in Washington, will discuss Thomas Jefferson and his celebrated metaphor the Wall of Separation.
A Rhodes Scholar and graduate of the University of Oxford in England and the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Dreisbach has been a professor at American for 18 years. He has written or edited seven books and more than 60 book chapters, articles and reviews in scholarly journals. In 2008, he was named the Scholar/Teacher of the Year at American.
