Darrel Butts is the new pastor of Union Grove Baptist Church, Coffeeville. He preached for four years at Washington County Nursing Home, Chatom, and served 12 years as pastor of Dearmon Fork Freewill Baptist Church, Millry.
A native of Alabama, he grew up near Millry in Frankville.
He and his wife, Annette, have three adult children, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Brady Gaither, associate pastor of students for Christian Valley Baptist Church, Livingston, was ordained into the ministry March 2.
