BIRMINGHAM Vestavia Hills Baptist Church, Birmingham, will host a retirement celebration for administrative pastor Dennis Anderson on March 17. The morning worship service will begin at 10 a.m. and the afternoon reception will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Anderson has served at Vestavia Hills Baptist for 34 years. Gary Furr is pastor.
