Hundreds gathered at Shades Mountain Baptist Church in Birmingham Nov. 14 for the 2022 Alabama Baptist Pastors Conference.
We heard sermons from Gateway Seminary President Jeff Iorg, Hawaii pastor Sterling Lee, Georgia pastor Ken Adams, NAMB’s Mark Clifton and Louisiana pastor Fred Luter.
A highlight of the day was the awarding of the Fred Wolfe Lifetime Pastoral Ministry Award to longtime pastor and leader Charles T. Carter.
Several other groups have met in conjunction with this week’s Alabama Baptist State Convention annual meeting, including the Alabama Baptist Conference of Associational Leaders and the Alabama African American Fellowship.
