Washington Association will sponsor revival services June 5–9 in five area high school stadiums at 7 p.m. daily. Monday: Millry, led by Sammy Gilbreath, director of evangelism for Alabama Baptists; Tuesday: Chatom, Jay Wolf, pastor of First Church, Montgomery; Wednesday: McIntosh, Charles Carter, pastor emeritus of Shades Mountain Church, Vestavia Hills; Thursday: Fruitdale, Fred Luter Jr., pastor of New Orleans’ Franklin Avenue Church. Friday: Leroy, Luter. Marty Townsend, minister of music, and Lou Schell, pianist, both of First Church, Chatom, will serve as worship leaders. The Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions is helping with the event. Paul Kendrick is director of missions.
