Prattmont Baptist Church in Prattville celebrated its 75th anniversary June 23.
Mel Johnson, lead mission strategist for the association and chair of the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions, recognized the church for its 75 years of faithful service. Anna Speir, a commissioner for the Alabama Baptist Historical Commission, presented a commemorative plaque to the church’s pastor, Pete Chadwick.
Special offertory music was provided by Brooke Tucker, wife of Randall Tucker, who served as pastor for 37 years until his death. Also recognized during the service were former pastor, Sid Nichols, and his wife, Pam; charter member Virginia Ballard Martinelli; and Dorothy Dennis, the oldest member.
Past and present ministries of the church were shared by Justin Hall, a deacon, and Jay Penton, pastor of men’s ministries.
