Dewayne Banks is the new pastor of Mount Moriah Baptist Church, Pell City, where he was serving as interim pastor.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Bible College, Birmingham. He previously was pastor of St. Clair Cowboy Church, Odenville, and First Baptist Church Odenville, and he’s also served as a youth pastor.
He and his wife, Laurie, have two children.
Bethel Baptist Church, Robertsdale, will host a Walk Through Bethlehem event Dec. 13–15, 6–8 p.m.
