Nineteen more Christians have lost their lives in the years-long campaign against believers in Nigeria.
Christian Daily International-Morning Star News reported several recent incidents:
– In the country’s Plateau state, Muslim Fulani herdsmen attacked the Gyel community June 8, killing one Christian. Fulani struck again in Gyel June 16, slaying five Christians at a mining site. Herdsmen also invaded Ta-Hoss village June 10, killing two Christians; Bangai village June 11, killing one; and Torok village June 12, killing another.

– In Kaduna state, Fulani herdsmen slew nine Christians June 16 in Angwa Magaji village.
– In Borno state, a source said 416 Christians kidnapped from Ngoshe village were released June 6 through the efforts of intermediaries and community leaders. Boko Haram militants had kidnapped the Christians March 4, and at least four were slain following the abduction. Approximately 100 more believers, mainly women and children, are still captive, a source said.
