‘Important component’
The Notable Book Awards, which were founded in 2018, honor books for their writing excellence, professional format, and inspiring message. They are judged by staff members of the Southern Christian Writers Conference.
According to SCWC coordinator Cheryl Wray, the awards are an important component of the writing organization. “We love being able to recognize our outstanding authors,” she said. “Our members are very involved in the writing and publishing process, and these award winners were able to find publishing success. We are very proud of their accomplishments, and want to continue to encourage them.”
The awards ceremony was held at the home of SCWC founders David and Joanne Sloan.
