ACAYUCAN, Mexico — More than 3,000 people accepted Christ as their Savior at evangelistic events led by evangelist Alberto Mottesi during the first week of April in Veracruz, Mexico. During a morning meeting with 250 government and political party leaders and businessmen and women, Mottesi led several dozen of the assembled to a decision to accept Christ. This event was front-page news in several area newspapers and included photographs. “Mexico is about to have one of the biggest revivals in the history of Christianity,” said Mottesi, who also led an evangelistic crusade in Mexico City in April.
