Bethel Baptist gifts pastor, wife trip for retirement

Bethel Baptist Church, Pleasant Grove, in Bessemer Baptist Association, honored Pastor Rick Cato (far left) for his ministry at the church. Cato announced his plans to retire in October 2019 after 16 years at Bethel Baptist. Cato and his wife, Essie (second from left), were gifted a 10-day trip to Ireland and England from the church. It was presented to them by the chairman of the deacons Jay Johnson (center) and deacon Philip Houston.
