Aid groups, including Baptist Global Response (BGR), are assessing needs and providing assistance in the Bahamas after Hurricane Dorian caused several deaths and destruction on Abaco Island and Grand Bahama, two of the nation’s 700+ islands. Jeff Palmer, executive director of BGR, said BGR will work through the Bahama Baptist Convention and the Caribbean Baptist Fellowship to help affected communities.
