Meteorologist James Spann has said that after tornadoes killed 252 people on April 27, 2011, he worked to memorize the name and the story of each person who died that day.
Many of those names are precious to people around Alabama, and many of our Alabama Baptist churches feel those losses. Many of our Alabama Baptist Disaster Relief volunteers and chaplains also remember the heartbreaking things they experienced in the hours and days following the tornadoes.
We’re praying for you today as you grieve the lives of those lost.
