Central Heights Baptist Church in Florence, AL is looking for someone who loves Jesus, loves kids, and feels called to help shape the next generation’s faith. The ideal candidate is active in a Bible-believing church, communicates well, leads volunteers with encouragement, and understands how children learn and grow. A strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and spiritual training is essential. Theological training or relevant ministry experience is helpful, but a calling to serve children matters most.
The Children’s Ministry Director exists to disciple the children of Central Heights Baptist Church and help lead them into active participation in the life and ministries of CHBC while also sharing the Gospel with children in our community. This role provides leadership, planning, and administration for the church’s children’s education ministry, with a heart for evangelism, discipleship, and partnership with families.
This is a part-time position responsible for planning and executing weekly activities for children Pre-K through 6th grade on Sunday and Wednesday evenings from 6-7 pm. Please email resume to centralheightsbckids@gmail.
