David Awtrey celebrated 20 years as senior pastor of First Baptist Church Pinson on June 28. The special service included guest preacher Craig Carlisle, first vice president of the Southern Baptist Convention and Etowah Baptist Association’s director of missions, additional guest speakers, presentations and videos of congratulations. A meal followed with more shared memories honoring Awtrey and his wife, Lynne.
