Biker Sunday took place recently at Logan Road Baptist Church, Ozark, in Dale Baptist Association.
The non-traditional event was one of several planned by the church in May to show that Christ’s love is for everyone, regardless of who they are or how they look.
The worship time featured Shack On the Rock from Camp Ground Baptist Church, Ozark. Two members of the Enterprise chapter of Heaven’s Saints Motorcycle Ministry, Robert and Alicia Happoldt, shared testimonies of how God delivered them from drugs, restored their lives and saved their marriage.
Jerry Grandstaff, director of missions for Columbia Baptist Association, brought the morning message. A blessing of the bikes and a lunch fellowship followed.
Logan Road’s pastor is Charles Goldsmith, also president of His Blood Warriors Motorcycle Ministry of Lower Alabama. (TAB)
