No doctrinal questions will arise regarding the lyrical content of this great collection from Integrity, as the lyrics are pulled straight from the Bible. With song titles like “The Heavens Declare,” “Be Still and Know” and “I Have Been Crucified with Christ,” this record is basically the Bible — portions of it anyway — set to music, and rather well.

Featuring Todd Fields, Christy Nockels and Candi Pearson-Shelton, it sounds as if it were recorded at a very grounded, very happy church. All 13 songs are extremely singable — user-friendly if you will. “Word of God Speak” is a good execution of a can’t-miss idea.
