BIRMINGHAM — Edward Harmon "E.H." Moore, retired executive secretary of the Indiana Baptist Convention, died Feb. 1 in Birmingham. He was 90 years old. A native of western Oklahoma, Moore served as pastor of churches in Oklahoma, Texas and Illinois before becoming executive secretary for the Indiana convention in 1959. He served there for 21 years before retiring in 1980. He and his wife, Betsy, stayed in Indianapolis 12 more years before moving to Birmingham and joining Riverchase Baptist Church, Birmingham, in Shelby Baptist Association. Moore is survived by his wife, one son, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
