WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A Bible-oriented game show is airing on the PAX television network. “Genesis: The Family Bible Game Show” premiered April 23. The network calls it the “world’s first Bible-based television game show.” Teams from churches and synagogues test their knowledge of Bible history and literature in a quiz show format. Prizes go to charities or programs supported by the religious organization, and daily winners have a chance to win a trip to Israel. The program is being marketed as welcome change from greed-oriented game shows such as “Who Wants to be a Millionaire?”
