First Church, Oak Grove, staff change

Lee Praytor is the new pastor of First Church, Oak Grove, in Bessemer, effective Sept. 24. Praytor comes to First, Oak Grove, from Mineral Springs Church, Clanton, where he served as pastor for five years. He previously served as pastor of New Hope Church, Bessemer. Praytor holds a master’s degree from New Orleans Seminary and is currently pursuing his doctorate from New Orleans. He and his wife, Christy, have two children.
