Ed Helveston Jr. is the new minister of music at First Church, Mount Olive. A native of Mobile, Helveston comes to First, Mount Olive, from Godwin Heights Church, Lumberton, N.C. He previously served a church in Florida. Helveston is a graduate of Mobile College (now the University of Mobile) and Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He and his wife, Sandra, have three daughters and a son. Doug Moore is pastor.
