God has answered our prayer for favor with local leaders.
The government authority for the entire district is based at a little, completely undeveloped place called Mulela (on old maps called Mualama), which is populated by all Lomwe speakers and not a mix like we found in some other places. We gave this leader a copy of the “JESUS” film in Lomwe, and he was thankful but asked couldn’t we please come back and actually show the movie throughout his entire area. He said he was very concerned about the growth of Islam and said that he wants us to evangelize heavily in order to not only stem the spread of Islam but also “steal” many of them away for Christianity. We were stunned.
