Pleasant Arbor Church, Rock Run, anniversary

Pleasant Arbor Church, Rock Run, will celebrate its 85th anniversary with a homecoming Sept. 13, 10:30 a.m. Lunch will follow. The Joymasters, of Canton, Ga., will be special singers. This will be the 33rd year that they have sung for the church’s homecoming. Jewel Adkinson, the oldest church member, will be presented a plaque. She is 92 and has been a member for more than 40 years. On Sept. 20, the church will bury a time capsule that will be opened on its 100th anniversary. Brent Poole is pastor.
