Dalraida Church, Montgomery, special guest

The American Council on Alcohol Problems (ACAP) and Alabama Citizens Action Program (ALCAP) will host an evening with Peter Lumpkins, author of the new book “Alcohol Today: Abstinence in an Age of Indulgence” Sept. 29, 7 p.m., at Dalraida Church, Montgomery. Lumpkin will address what the Bible says about the use of alcoholic beverages — abstinence versus moderation. The book will be available for purchase, and Lumpkin also will be available for autographs. Rick Evans is pastor.
