The Soul Survivors grief support group of First Church, Trussville, is sponsoring a holiday support meeting called Hope for the Holidays Dec. 7, 7–8:30 p.m. In conjunction with The Compassionate Friends, the group is sponsoring a worldwide candle lighting service Dec. 10 in the church annex to honor the memory of children who have died.
