Crosshaven Baptist Church, Hanceville, in West Cullman Baptist Association took a vision team of 11 people — eight from its congregation and three from two others — to Peru June 3–13.
In preparation for two Crosshaven Baptist members who are going to the South American country for two years as Southern Baptist representatives, the team prayer walked, made contacts with some businesses and built relationships with local people.
Working in the Andes Mountains, the team also took Frisbees with the plan of salvation printed on them to give to children.
“Our goal [was] to bring the love of Christ to these people. They are hungry for the gospel,” said Melinda Hudson, office assistant at Crosshaven and team member.
