First Church, Talladega, obituary

Mary Gentry, a member of First Church, Talladega, died Oct. 6. She was 112. As of January 2009, Gentry was the 27th oldest person in the world and oldest living person in Alabama. She taught Sunday School for 4-year-olds for 47 years. Gentry is survived by two children, 10 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
